Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn

Stayed in the Standard double room with 2 Queen beds and balcony for one night. Ample parking in the back, however not very limited handicap stalls. Room was spacious, cozy & comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. Bed & bedding was also very clean & comfortable - slept very well! Complimentary tea & coffee was available which was very convenient and greatly appreciated! Lobby and common areas were very well maintained. Staff was very welcoming & check-in was easy and quick. Breakfast bag was also available and very convenient (for a very small fee) and items were great & filling - helped us get through the morning!

Fantastic stay. Wasn't expecting much given the seemingly mixed reviews, but it was the most reasonable rate I could find last-minute. We got a nicely renovated/clean room, and found the hotel amenities to be above & beyond, with free evening wine reception, coffee/tea/fruits/chocolates in the lobby, etc. Saw many rooms undergoing renovations, so anticipate majority of rooms would be renovated prior to the upcoming season. Anticipate many of the complaints in the 1-star reviews will hopefully be a non-issue by then.

What a wonderful, cozy place right in the mountains. We stayed here because the hotel that our hockey team stayed at was full (visiting for a kids hockey tournament) and are we ever happy about it. Such nice staff, very welcoming, cozy mountain vibe. They have a complimentary hummus & wine night which was beautiful, around a warm fire. Perfect atmosphere. I appreciate that the hummus was locally made. They also had breakfast snacks available for pre-order which was appreciated. We'd pick it up in a lunch bag ready to go in the morning. Walking distance from main restaurants, we really enjoyed the whole vibe and can't wait to go back.

Our suite was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Only reason for one less star...it would be very helpful to have a mirror close to an electrical outlet outside of the bathroom. If one person showering, other could be blowing hair, shaving, to get ready to go out. Small detail, not a deal breaker.

The room was clean and the lobby was beautiful. We really enjoyed the couches, fireplace, free wine and cheese reception in the lobby and the hot apple cider as well! The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we loved the two Chilean women! Overall great experience

The hotel was quiet and well maintained, with a convenient location. Some rooms include an in-room jacuzzi, and pet-friendly accommodations are available. The front desk operates 24/7, which was helpful and added to the overall convenience of the stay.

The room itself was genuinely great - clean and comfortable. The bed was insanely comfortable. Everything was super clean. The room was quiet. Also, major points for a balcony (with a solid view) AND a fireplace. That was a really nice treat. Honestly everything about the room, location and hotel itself was basically perfect. Then why only 4 stars? Check in was a bit messy. The host was incredibly polite and nice, and I don't fault them at all. But my check in was delayed. I was hoping to check in a half hour early, but was told that wasn't possible. When I came back at 4:00 (check in time), my room was still not ready. I only waited maybe 14 minutes, so not really a huge deal. That said, every other aspect of my two day stay was 5 star. Would likely stay here again.

We stayed 4 nights at the Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn the last leg of our 2.5 week vacation. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. They offered breakfast to go every morning with delicious food from a local bakery and it was extremely reasonable. There was a wine and cheese reception every night in the lobby and we had great fun connecting with other travellers. Highly recommend this place!!
